So that means next week, there will be two eliminated. No one got the extra point. Remember, you have to have all four guesses correct and even though some of you had all the B3 correct, your guess as to who was leaving wasn't correct. Just wanted to clarify that. =)

I'm not sure I agree with the judges use of the save but whatever. Hopefully someone who can actually win doesn't end up in the bottom now.

Grrr...soooo mad that Andrew was not sent home. I am glad though that they used the save for Michael because I dont think he deserved to go home.

My family is so NOT happy they used the save. One of my boys wanted Michael to go home so bad. I can't even repeat the words I'm hearing here in the house, but he can't stop talking about it.

I don't agree with the judges decision either. I hope it doesn't come back to bite them in the butt.

See, I agree that he didn't deserve to go home, I just don't agree that he deserved to be saved either. There are still 4 eliminations left before they get to the top 5. That's plenty of time for a shocker elimination and now they are out of luck. I just think if they're going to use it, save it for someone who has a real solid shot at winning. I just kind of doubt that the person voted off in 9th place is likely going to win even after being saved.

Yea I dont think Michael is the best singer that there is in the bunch BUT I think he deserved to stick around and see how far he can take it. Andrew SHOULD have been the one voted off tonight. He honestly IMO should have left in the first week or second week. I just dont think he is that great and dont see how he is chosen bottom 3 so many times and is somehow saved everytime.

I really like Andrew - I can see myself listening to his CD. Michael, I'm sorry to say, BORES me to death. I fast-forward through his performances after the first 20 seconds. I then go back later after the judges gush on and on and on, and I'm always yawning.

He reminds me of Ruben Studdard... all he sang were love ballads, and he didn't do that well after AI. I'm thinking the same will be for Michael if he doesn't add some interest into his performances.

I don't think they made the right choice saving him. What happens if next week Crystal, Casey or Lee ends up in bottom 2? They won't have a choice but to let 2 of them go, even if they have the highest chances of winning.

See I've actually liked Andrew the last two weeks so I'm not really surprised he's stayed around.

I think my issue is I'm not really a fan of the save in the first place. It was created partly in response to Chris Daughtry being eliminated but because of the rules they placed on it, they wouldn't even be able to save him since he was eliminated within the top 5. It just seems to me like a way to keep a mediocre contestant around longer. I mean, if you don't genuinely get voted into the top 5, should you really have a chance at winning? Plus now you have two people going home next week which just seems to me to up the chances of a surprise elimination. I guess I would just prefer they only use it for someone who is really really really good and likely to win or just not use it at all.

I have yet to see yesterdays show, but I totally agree with you Lynnette. I do not like the save. At all. It sets up for so so much more of a shocker moment. I don't like the build up. I hate when they have to tell the contestants that they are not saved...ick.

Me too, especially when they claim they get to "sing for their life" and then flat out say they won't save them even before they let them sing. It just comes across as unnecessarily harsh.
