Who watched Oprah?

I can't be the only one? OMG I have a headache from crying, laughing, and listening to all that screaming. I want to go to Australia!!!!! And just imagine all the Motorola Defy phones that will be sold tomorrow. And those women from Boston - that'd be just my luck I'd show up with no shower or makeup and be on live TV! Can't wait to watch this fun season.

Umm, I went walking remembered it was the first show so I had to like run back home..LOL. I was crying, laughing and crying again. Sometimes Oprah bothers me, not sure why but I definitely admire her for what she has been able to do and how generous she truly is. 300 people, 8 day round trip to Australia, WOW! I just wish I was one of them!!! WAH...

CST it's 4:00 p.m. daily and then it's rerun I think on another cable channel at night? You may be able to see episodes on her website too?

Maybe it's her "So tell me how *I* have changed your life..." sort of attitude. Or maybe it's because she *has* been the catalyst for change in so many peoples' lives that bothers you. I think those two things go hand in hand to make up the reason that she bothers me.

Or the way she gets glory for OTHER PEOPLE giving money/gifts on her show. Not saying she hoards away all of her own money or anything, I know she's generous, but she's not nearly as generous as she makes herself look on her show.

I watched today and think this will be a good season. I haven't been really impressed with the last couple of seasons but am hopeful this one will be better. I have been watching Oprah for as long as I can remember. It seems strange to think that this will be the last season.

I watched it. I programmed the DVR since it's the last season. I've watched off and on over the years.

I'm not sure how I feel about her. There are times I dislike her attitude towards guests, but then every once in a while, she will do something that seems really genuine and I sort of like her again.

I did think it was totally hillarious that they transformed the back area to look so much like a parking garage that people were trying to park there -- but I would have been so disappointed to be on tv after a long road trip wishing I had been able to freshen up. Although the trip to Australia would probably have made up for it.

*blush* I thought last year was the last season. LOL! I can take or leave Oprah... I haven't watched her in years... however I think it would be cool to see a taping of the show... not many TV shows are taped in Chicago, which is only 4 hours from here.

Seriously? It's her last season? I only get to watch her when I'm in the states...and even then not so much b/c if my kids are around (which is all the time b/c I homeschool) then I don't want them to see any bit of it. But, I did get her big huge dvd of highlight episodes. I will say I enjoyed watching that being out in the middle of Africa with no tv, it was a lot of fun. But her recent years have been pretty crazy. I liked her old stuff.

In my opinion, she's wealthy and popular and "all of the above," and yet she seems like a woman who is still searching for something...she clings to every odd religious view that comes her way...
