![]() ![]() We thought she might have been the neighbors but she was not home so we went over to ask once she got home and she said no she isnt mine. We asked several more neighbors and nobody claimed her. So we brought her in and now she follows me EVERYWHERE!! LOL. She is really sweet but we cannot keep her. Problem is we have alot of stray dogs in the neighborhood which attack smaller animals. I could not possibly let that happen. She really is so cute though. The picture is slightly blurry but good enough. Hopefully we will find her a good home in a week or two. |

Yea Jae that is what we will probably do. There is supposed to be another one running around also. He/she is an orange tabby. The lady next door told us that they were not there when she moved in and she has been here less then a month and that one night they just appeared. So our thought is someone must have just dropped them off. This one we caught was not wild but she was a little skittish....so when we look for a home I want to specify it be one that doesnt have small children because I wouldnt want it to scratch one because of it still being slightly skittish.

i'm a sucker for cats. apparently my husband is too; his brother found one wandering around and he was very sick. he nursed him back to health but could not keep him at his apartment so Chad brought him home. he was so tiny, but now he's growing and eats all the time; he's got this fat little round tummy now lol. he's the sweetest cat. you pick him up and he rubs noses with you.

well for now I am calling her Piper (the character from one of my favorite shows Charmed). She follows me around every where meowing until I pick her up and she sleeps with me every night but does not get along with any of our cats. She is very protective and will smack even the adult cats. They all love her though and will lick her and try to play. I think she is just overwhelmed. In a few days we will be listing her for a new home. Giving it a few more days to see if anyone comes around looking for her because we spread the word around the neighborhood that she is here

That's how we got our first cat. Found her outside and went door to door looking to see if she belonged to any of the neighbors.
We've had lots of cats since then. Unfortunately, the first one died several years ago. We think she was poisoned. We've had 3 others disappear. We have a lot of coyotes around us, and sometimes they've just gotten out when a door was opened. We have 3 now and they've been with us between 7 and 10 years. They really don't leave the yard (which is fenced, but coyotes will find a way). It's hard...we don't like letting them out, but for an hour or so each day, they all want to go out and lie in the yard. Best of luck finding a home for her. She looks like she's a sweetie! Perhaps she can be an indoor kitty for you and you can just keep her!! ![]() |

Debra I already have Pebbles (a long haired white fur female cat), Patty (a long haired calico). Zoey (a long haired black/white cat), Ali (long haired tabby/calico mix) Abby a short haired tortoiseshell calico and Rosalie a short haired white cat...eevryone calls her Clorox because she has like three spots which are black and orange so they say she looks like she was bleached. I dont like that name. But if I did not have all those she would defenitely be mine. I have already named her though but I know we cannot have another cat. Keeping kitty litter clean and not smelly for 6 cats is soooo difficult!! And because 4 out of the 6 all have pretty long fur they need daily grooming. Then we have two sheep outside. I want to sell them (the sheeo that is) because they are LOOOOOUUUUUDDDD!!!! They are like watchdogs though so that is a good thing and they arent super expensive to feed but they were bought for my daughter to show at fair next year and she has done nothing to care for them once she realized how much work they were. For two months we had to get up every four hours to bottle feed them. We started slowly weaning them around a month and it took to the end of two months to be completely off bottles. it was like having a baby again!!
