Default Kitchen appliances...

Does anyone else have a thing for kitchen appliances? I have a serious crush on mine. I use my bread maker, toaster oven, sandwich maker, blender, griddle, and George Foreman grill every week. I have dreams of getting a Kitchenaid Mixer...but they are really pricey. Just checking to see if I'm alone in my appliance dependence...or do others feel this way? LOL

no, i like them too. i also have been dreaming of an Kitchen Aid stand mixer. they ARE pricey. my husband rolls his eyes everytime i'm drawn to one at the store lol.

i love my bosch dishwasher. it works really well. if we have salt in the softener and if i keep rinse aide in it lol. we have REALLY hard water. in fact, i think if we didn't have hard water i'd be even more impressed. the water is the DEVIL.

oh, and we just got a Bunn coffee pot. i love how fast it brews!!

I do! Though, I sold my breadmaker when I got my KitchenAid mixer... and then my KitchenAid broke during our move last year and I'm totally heartbroken because I can't afford to get a new one. I miss my KitchenAid soooooo much! I also really really lust for a VitaMix badly! My blender just doesn't even come close to how awesome they are!

I'd love that mixer as well but I can't see spending that kinda cash on something that will most likely just sit on my counter and the bowl will fill up with dust. LOL

I love my sandwich maker, my juicer(although I want a proper one, the one I have now is just a little crappy one) my slow cooker is always on in the colder weather and I broke my George Foreman from excessive use, lol!

I'd love a bread maker too, but I know I'd stop using it after a while!

I am having a love affair with my Kitchen-aid!! I have never made more bread in my life! LOL

I also love my toaster (also a Kitchen-aid) because it has a bagel button and it toasts the bagels just perfect!

I also love my wok! It's an electric one and I use it almost daily. =)

Oh ya, totally forgot about my slow cooker. I use it about once a week.

I mostly use my bread maker for making pizza dough, cinnamon bun dough, or for making french bread to make garlic bread.

Nope I am not much of a one for gadgets. I had a food processor when we got married (24 years ago) it's shoved into the back of the cupboard and I bet it's not been used more than a dozen or so times all together.

We have a cheapo sandwich maker as two of the kids love cheese toasties.

I have one of those small hand blender type things that I use for soup and breadcrumbs. And a small hand held electric whisk which I use for my baking.

I use my pressure cooker all the time though, don't know if that counts as a gadget or not. I'm lost without it.

Oh and I decided a couple of years ago I wanted a slow cooker - it's never been out of the box.

I don't use any of my gadgets near enough. Now that it's fall though, I will probably get into the habit of making 1 or 2 loaves of bread a week in my bread maker. SO GOOD. I really want to give pizza dough a try in there too, just haven't had time to look into it.
Now that we're talking about it, I REALLY want to make pot roast in my slow cooker, lol.
I love my kitchenaid, and I tend to use it in spurts. It was a wedding present from my grandma. One of these days I need to give her roll recipe a try.
I really want a good size food processor. I only have a small one that fits my blender, and it's about half the size that I would really like. They're so expensive though!

I use my bread machine and crockpot daily!!! I love fresh hot crusty french bread!!

I also love my magic bullet!!!

I've got a knock off Kitchen aid (the Sunbeam Mixmaster...it was still like $100 bucks!!) that my inlaws bought me about 7 years ago and I think I've used it only 6 times...we only drag it out to make Christmas cookies so we can have lots of batter going at the same time!!!

I too love them. Let me tell you a secret about KitchenAid's. We got our at Sams I think around this time and used a rebate. However, we've bought them for family presents when I'm in charge. You can catch them on sale at Kohls and then wait for the 30% off. It was great. The last one we shipped right to the nephews house. And they got a free attachment too!! Cheapest route to go!!!

I love my food processor, my blender, my stick blender (perfect for making mashed potatoes!), my sandwich/pocket maker, Crock pot (which sat unused for about a year when I asked for it for Christmas!). I even break out the electric griddle when making a bunch of grilled chesses for the family. I don't have Foreman since we can grill year round here.

My mom just got a KtichenAid as an early Christmas present, she is in love! Got a refurb off of Amazon.

I have a love affair with most of my kitchen.

KitchenAid. Bread machine. food processor (although I'd love a better quality one, mine was a $2 yardsale find). These 3 never leave the counter top.
Slow cooker. waffle iron (I want a non-belgain style) blender. electric skillet. sandwhich thingy. there's more I'd love to get, but we just dont have ANY room.

I don't have a bread machine, but I'd love one!

I have a Kitchen-Aid stand mixer that Tony gave me for Christmas last year. I don't bake a lot, but when I do, I am grateful for it! I have a food processor that I don't use much, but I will use it when I have to grate large amounts of cheese, make bread crumbs or cook for a lot of people.

The thing I actually use most is the griddle we bought. The kids love french toast and pancakes, and we use it at least 3 times a week. We used to make it in a frying pan, but this is so much better!

I have a KitchenAid mixer that rarely gets used (it is just SO heavy to drag out) but when I need it I'm always SO glad I have it.

I'd say my all time favorite is my slow-cooker. That baby gets used at least once (if not twice) per week. LOVE it. Other than that...I have a really good chef's knife that I really baby and it performs SO well. Love it, too. I use our magic bullet once per day to make smoothies/protein shakes and it's pretty awesome too.

My KitchenAid makes me bake more! So the kids also love it. I have a really old bread machine (probably 18-20 years old) and I never liked the bread it made because the crust was too chewy. I'm assuming new bread machines are much better. But now with the KA to mix up the dough, it's easy to just make it that way.

This is why I got rid of my breadmaker when I got my KitchenAid mixer... the bread is sooooo much better.

I am drawn to kitchen gadgets/appliances but don't really use them that often. I do love my Keurig coffeemaker though.

I have a Breadman that DH got me for Christmas in 2000 from Sears and I've never had one lick of trouble from it and I have used it at least 4 to 5 times a week since I got it!! During the winter I usually use it 7 times a week!!! I'm gonna probably cry rivers of tears if it ever stops working for me!!!! I it!!!

i'd love a kitchen aid someday--or a bosch, that's what my sil has and loves it (thought it costs even MORE!) who knows

i loved my food processor for making baby food--but not only use it to grate cheese. We use our $6 toaster all the time. we use our crock pot a bit (we should more), sandwich and waffle maker sometimes...

And our griddle is definitely my favorite--we use it for pancakes, french toast and grilled cheese!
