Derek Matthew is HERE!!! PICS
Our Little One is Here!!!!
Derek was born on Monday, November 8, 2010 at 3:50 AM. He was 8 lbs 3 ozs and was 19.5 inches. I made it to 37 weeks 6 days...my longest pregnancy ever!! Derek had very low blood sugar and had to be monitored very closely right after birth. He was in the NICU for monitoring for a few hours but then spent the rest of our hospital stay with me (our last two boys were in the NICU for 8 days/5 days so we were sooooo excited to stay out of there)!! Derek's jaundice levels spiked the morning we were to get discharged and we had to do home photo therapy for three days to get the bilirubin levels down....he stopped his light treatment tonight!!! He almost got re-admitted to the hospital on Friday but the doctor wanted to try the lights at home first. We are hoping to be done with the blood work...poor little guy's feet have been little pin cushions for 6 days. It has been a whirlwind week and I am EXHAUSTED but it's all worth it! He is the sweetest baby and so darn cute!! He is a clone of his two older brothers!!! Here are some hospital pictures....we are waiting to get the actual full rights CD and then watch out b/c the layouts will be coming!! Of course when I am not feeding, pumping, sleeping or cuddling!!
