Sorry for all the questions but being new to hybrid I want to find out before I send family out to buy this stuff for me
I have a Canon Pixma MP270 multifunction and part of me thinks I could get away with using one of these two to print my papers and elements out on ![]() ![]() The first one is matte photo paper 170gsm The second one is high resolution presentation paper 110gsm

do you think the brand matters too much as I do use genuine canon ink as well?

I use 160 gsm bright white presentation paper, it's very matte and comes from Staples here in the UK. I bet they have a similar product in the UK. When I make hybrid projects I want them to look just like if I had used real scrapbook paper so I use this instead of photograph paper

Thats what I would like to achieve but I really only have one place I can go for paper so I think I might just have to stick to matte photo paper this time around

Well, this is just my personal experience... but I had a Canon Pixma printer and bought "store brand" and Kodak papers because they were much cheaper than the Canon papers. Unfortunately, they printed terribly! The only time i got decent prints was when I used genuine Canon papers. Which was crummy, because they are pricey! Although, now I have an Epson, and I can use all my Canon papers with it, and it prints wonderfully! Yay!
