Help Me - Which One??

I'm tossed...

I'm trying to add some finishing touches to this page and I was going through my stash looking for ribbon and I found one that I thought I'd try and when I placed it on the page, it was like "hmmmm...?" Not what I was intending it for, but do I like it?

What do you think??

It matches and it's pretty, but I'd say without because with it, your eye goes straight to the bow and takes away from the prettiness of your other ellies. Adorable!

I like it with because it just adds an unexpected twist, but it is pretty without.

My intent was to add a wee bit of ribbon behind the flowers, just enough to peek out. And now I'm off to finish my page!

I think it depends on where you want the viewer to focus. In the version with the ribbon, my eye immediately goes to the LOVE and follows the ribbon around past the flowers and word art and eventually to the journaling. Where as in the second version, my eye is immediately drawn to the center of the page where the journaling is.

I'd probably go with the second version but I think either one would still be pretty. As my DH likes to remind me, no one else is going to look at my pages and think "gosh, she really shouldn't have used that ribbon or but that tiny button there."

Both are beautiful but I like #2.
I LOVE ribbon soooooo maybe you could shrink it and tuck it behind the flowers!!!
