Default April Fool's Day

I've been looking online for some ideas for fun April Fool's Day pranks to pull on my 11 year-old daughter tomorrow but so far haven't really had much luck. So I was curious - what's been the best prank you've ever pulled?

I am not really into pranks myself, but this one is being pulled at least a year (don't think it will work in America though).

De Leeuw (lion) is a common name in the Netherlands. Put a note at your collegues desk with the question to call mr de Leeuw and a telephonenumber. The number has to be from a zoo. As soon as they call and hear Artis zoo (in Amsterdam) or something they often know what's happening, but if you are lucky they don't and ask for Mr. de Leeuw. I think all zoo's are in for a busy day tomorrow

A good one for computer people is to take a screenshot of the desktop then set that screenshot as their desktop picture and hide all the icons.. :O

I always thought this one was funny:
If you have a sink with a sprayer, put a rubber band around the nob so that it stays in the on position. When someone turns on the water they get sprayed.

I cannot remember if I have played a joke on a child but I love to play them on my boyfriend. I have a doozy for tomorrow! He never learns, every year, he falls for them!

One year my dh had this great idea but didn't get to follow through with it. We had a houseful of people and he went out to get our pizzas. He was going to also come home with a stack of empty boxes and pretend to trip and toss them all, lol! When he walked up to the house, though, everyone was having a serious conversation and he just couldn't bring himself to do it.

But it would've been hilarious!

I don't know if you could pull this off at home or not, but this morning I gave my 2nd graders triple digit multiplication for morning work. On the back I printed an April Fools' word search. Most of them caught on when they saw the word search. I had a few poor souls who tried and tried to do the math problems.

My husband loves pranks, his favorite for kids is chocoloate covered cottonballs. He even takes them to work every year and people fall for it.

Ha! At least I didn't do what one of the 3rd grade teachers did! She gave them a packet of 4th grade math and told them they had to pass it. If they didn't, they'd have to do 3rd grade all over!!!! lol
