Default Photo help

I love this picture taken of my son and husband the night before he left, with the bear that he made with his voice. As you can tell the quality is not very good. Any suggestions as to some tricks that I can try to make it a little bit better. I don't have a lot of knowledge about photo editing. Just basic PSE understanding. I would really appreciate it.

I won't be much help because I do most of my photo editing with actions I've bought, but it's a cute photo and I hope someone can offer some tips!

I just did a quick edit...brightened, denoise, and adjusted the yellow level. I might have denoised a bit too much, but that can be changed.

You'll see something if my team doesn't soon score, OR if Montreal scores lol

I think this looks wonderful. Thank you so much. I do not know what denoise means, so I couldn't tell you if did it to much or not.
