Default Anyone else doing prom hair...

Ok so I don't have the 35 bucks plus tip and 35 bucks plus tip for nails on top of what I've already paid for PROM schtuff!!!
So I decided it's either or and told my dd to pick the nails or hair.... so she decided to go for the nails & I'll do her hair since i can't do nails, LOL
I did a dry run on her today she loves it and I'm like ok I can do this

Anyone else doing their loved one's hair for prom???

I did my daughter's for prom last year.

she just wanted ringlet curls with a simple headband. Her hair is really hard to get to take a curl so I was just happy they stayed. I didnt get any pictures though but here is one where you can kinda see the curls:

I love how you did your daughters hair...my daughter had an updo similar to that in 9th grade which cost me a small fortune and it fell like a half hour after it was done!

I used to do it for all my friends back in highschool, did my own for my wedding as well. I agree with youtube, there are lots of great ideas, also check out bridal mags for ideas for great updos too!

Aww you did a great job, it looks beautiful!!! I'm hoping by the time I have a girl going to prom (my oldest is just 13 so I have a few years) that wearing your hair down will be in style!!!

I did do my own hair for my wedding 14 years ago!!!
