I'm a foster mom! <3
It's Spring now which means there's a lot of kittens being born, so I applied at our local SPCA to become a foster home since they only have so much space. I got the call this morning asking me if I wanted to foster 2 little 4 week old kittens. Of course I said yes, and within an hour they were home with me! They are Manx kitties meaning they have no tails (well, really short stubs) and they are SO sweet! I got to name them too since they didn't have any and I chose Trixie and Pixie. They were put into a plastic bag and dropped off on the SPCA doorstep.
 I have an album on FB showing the photos I've taken so far. I'm sure the next month will fly by and we'll be wanting to keep them both which we can't because we already have one cat (who will always be separated from the kittens).

oh they are sooo sweet! they are so tiny!!
i cannot believe they were dropped off in a plastic bag. really? ugh. at least they had enough sense to drop them off and not just let them go. my puppy & two cats are shelter animals. ♥

So, so cute!! Witty bitty kittens!!
I can't believe somebody would be that crass! But at least they dropped them off there and not in the middle of the woods or something...

they are really sweet. they look kinda big for four weeks but that could just be the photos. At any rate they would be hard to give up as adorable as they are. We have rescued two kittens here both times in the pouring down rain which I assume were dropoffs because nobody had seen them or knew who they belonged to and the kittens were smaller then the palm of my hand. They both made it too. One of them was tailless like those kitties. People comment on him not having a tail all the time. Alot of people have never seen one without a tail
