Default what i would give..

for a chocolate dipped cone from dairy queen too bad the closest one is about 1.5 hours away.. haha. I'm having a HUGE craving though! I'm not one for fancy icecream or anything like that.. give me a plain vanilla soft serve cone with chocolate dip and I'm good to go!

What is your favourite??

at the grocery store in the ice cream section. Specifically I get it at Publix. None of the other grocery stores sell it that Ive seen. It basically tastes like vanilla buttercream frosting with little sprinkles in it.

Do you have a McDonald's with the chocolate dipped cone? Not a bad substitute. Although those things are usually dripping when they hand them to you. I don't remember that as much with a DQ dipped cone.

closest mcdonalds is 45 minutes away I'm in the boonies i'm telling you!

We DO have a gas station that has plain icecream and "fake" blizzards so i'm not totally out of luck - unless the machine goes down.. which it does. LOL

Oh I think that would be dangerous to have a supermarket so close! LOL!

I'd better quit reading this thread because now I'm thinking about ice cream.

Slightly off topic but does anyone know how to make ice cream out of coconut milk? I was just trying to figure that out today.

I just tried a new-to-me flavor from Ben & Jerry's last night. It's called Bonnaroo Buzz and OMG it is so yummy. Coffee and malt flavored ice cream with "whiskey-tickled caramel swirls" and toffee bits. I almost died it was so delish.

LOL omg you've no idea. A supermarket that closes at 10PM. Plus two convenience stores within walking distance. One of the perks(?!) of living in a condo, lol.

*burp* I got this:

Speaking of that chocolate magic shell / DQ chocolate dip... want to make your own?

I bet to make a cupcake flavored one, you could use white chocolate, and mix a couple scoops of cake mix into it... hmmmmm - I'm going to try that!!

We were supposed to go to DQ this weekend, and then it never happened. Now I'm totally upset, LOL! I'd love an M&M blizzard in chocolate ice cream right about now.

My favorite everyday ice cream is vanillia with chocolate fudge magic shell. My favorite "fancy" ice cream is actually a frozen custard that a local place here in town makes, it's chocolate peanut butter!!! Mmmmmmmmmmm!!!
