I bought the bundle during last weekend's sale and am working on making my first box! I know I will be making many more of these! Such an imaginative way to share a scrapbook!

Glad you liked the tut!

...you can totally do it Alisa - I've seen you hybrid remember

Please - if there is any template of Heather's anyone would like to see made into a tut with photos on her blog, just say the word. I'm happy to take requests!

Plus everyone's very welcome to give me a shout if they want any pointers about any hybridy sort of thing - if I can't help, I know one or two HybridBabes who'd be happy to help out

Ok I have a question...would it be tacky to create an explosion box but leave out the pictures so someone could add their own?

Its depends on how confident they are in editing the size of their own photos. Each layer is a different size, so they'd need to be able to print or cut their photos accordingly to fit just right. This may feel a overly fiddly to someone not used to editing their digital photos?

If they are used to such as Photoshop and you're giving a digital gift - like a sort of QP - then they'll be fine - but do check TOU's first!

So I think the answer is yes with a but....

Sara, a quick question.....when printing the backs of the boxes, do you print the entire back of the sheet or do you clip the papers to the template and save as a separate file?

I don't want to waste ink but I'm not sure about lining it up right and it would be 3 8.5X11 papers I'd have to print.

I just grin and bear it and print the whole sheet. Trying to line it all up is just too much trouble for me. But, if you know you have a big margin all around or are only printing on the top half of the sheet, then yeah, I'd only print as much background pattern as I need to save on ink. HTHs

Sorry for reading this belatedly! This is pretty much what I do too - I do chop off the top & bottom inches though, but to avoid any errors I print more than necessary around the reverse of the box.

I wanted to get myself an explosion box and because it's not August 1st yet I tried the couponcode....but it doesn't do anything and I have to pay full price?

Had it changed or am I doing something wrong?

Kate is right, you have to be logged in, but otherwise it should work. I PMed you Leontine, so if you still have trouble please let me know.
