Default Explosion Box Printing Help

I have a Canon multifunction printer and already have some matte single sided photo paper

or just normal copy paper so what would I be best to print the explosion box on to?

At my local stationary store I don't seem to be able to find anything that is double sided so I'm really at a loss as to what to do

I used matte premium presentation paper and it worked very well. I would probably not use normal copy paper as I think you would want something sturdier than that and you'll be printing to both sides of the paper. I would say that if you really can't find double sided matte or presentation paper, then a thin cardstock would work. Although it wouldn't be ideal, it would be better than plain inkjet paper.

I would try the matte photo paper you have - print the background pattern on the back first to see if it looks ok, then flip it and print the box pages on the "good" side.
