UGH! My blog has been hacked!

My new blog that has been on my list to get up and going since my host was a *(#$* and wouldn't give up my domain... so I got a new blog address. I get this weird email that my user name requested a change to email/password... and now I can't get in and Wordpress Support is apparently out of the office... I thought my passwords was pretty secure.. apparently not! Oh, I'm mad... I don't know what to do... granted there isn't anything on the blog personal since it was not even active... but I bothers me that someone is using my blog name that I paid for... I feel violated by some turkish dude... why do some people suck?

Can you request a password change? As long as they didn't change your email you will get the new password. Most of the time they are hacked just to be hacked and never changed. I didn't update wordpress on one of my blogs and it got hacked.

I would go into my site files and delete the blog or move it to a new folder name so the addy is different..

Yes this was my next suggestion! Log onto your ftp and move the blog! Or if you have Cpanel use it to delete the blog and start over.

That is awful. Seriously, what do they think they are accomplishing by doing this? I hope it is resolved soon and with as little pain as possible....

That's terrible... They actually do it just for fun, or because they can I noticed today that in the past 2 months there have been 7 attempts to log into my site admin, by someone other than me. It didn't work, but it's scary nevertheless. I hope you can get it solved!
