Today was my DD's first day of preschool. I was so excited all morning. Then she of course screamed and cried when I left, so I'm looking forward to picking her up to see if she had a good day after I left.

A printer would be awesome! I'd be excited, too!

I'm looking forward to going out to eat dinner with my parents (they give me a ride to church so I don't have to drive & use gas). Last week we did Perkins but sometimes we do restaurants that DH & I can't afford to go to with the kids.

Hope you're having a fun play-date!

I have an Epson Stylus Photo 1400 that prints up to a 13x19" size ... I make my own wall calendars ... plus some of my older scrapbooks (majority of older) are 12x12 and I still go back and scrap some of those pages as I am not even close to being caught up ... so love that I can print at home.

I am looking forward to CCCKC meeting tonight ... I'll explain in another post ... it's long.

I'm looking forward to the boys going to high school each day for their elective classes ... Auto Tech (repair) and Auto CAD for one of them (hopefully the other too).

Donna, I'd LOVE a laptop!!! Have fun shopping!!!

Sharon - it's wonderful that your school has Auto Tech and CAD...many districts are cutting those programs! Such great real world experience/learning for your boys!

I love laptops ... I scrap on the road constantly and almost literally. On trips I scrapbook while dh drives ... and when he used to drive to robotics (1 1/2 hour round trip x 4 days a week) I used to scrapbook.

These are the programs that get kids into careers ... they cut the "Small Engine Repair" program this year from the district's technical school ... which is a shame because my middle one took the first year and loved it ... it worked into a vo-tech school if the kids wanted to go there ... plus it helped them learn how to repair their own lawn mowers, leaf blowers, tractors, etc. I'm glad they still have the other classes though!

I hate seeing schools having troubles affording the robotics programs (one particular one costs $5000+ for the robot PLUS building supplies) ... those programs are getting kids into math and science (i.e. engineers!) for the future ... I really hope BEST Robotics can get into more communities since the cost of the robot is covered at the Hub level by corporate sponsors ... and then the schools don't pay anything for the robot kit. Our country NEEDS these kids for our future ... ok off my soap box ... LOL
