Default Stocking Stuffer Ideas

Let's get this party started! I love getting little things to stuff in the boys' stockings for Christmas. I thought it would make a great thread about what we're all adding to give each other ideas.

What do you add to your stockings each year?

batteries
cellophane tape (our youngest goes through it like mad)
chapstick
unique candy

personal care items like deoderants, perfumes/cologne, shower gel etc.

For my daughter stuff like ponytail holders, earrings, barrettes.

I also get small games like card games or dice games and books.

Some kind of card game/fun playing cards
chapstick
chocolate orange(tradition)
regular orange(tradition)
small toy(legos, etc)
CD or DVD that the entire family will enjoy

And this is for all of us, DH and I as well. On christmas we all count as kids.
Last year the common gifts amongst all stocking were the oranges, m&M candy figurines, slinkys, silly putty, and a candle each(the kids love candles too). Then we add in one or two unique things for each one as well.

Uno or deck of cards.
A small magic trick.
Terrys Choc Orange.
A matchbox car.
A new outfit for barbie/baby dolls.
Nail Varnish/Cologne.
A Chocolate Snowman.

A mixture of the above in each stocking and the adults get candles and scratch cards in theirs as well x

I'm making these for my 6 month old:

We usually all get little things, at a certain age we get small pocketknives, little handy tools are usually included somewhere. Sometimes a gift card (I've gotten panera, buffalo wild wings, bookstores, etc). Candy. Socks. Always some warm, fuzzy socks.

In our family, we get one big gift, and a stocking, from mom and dad (stocking from Santa, but...). Of course, there's always a smattering of smaller gifts from grandparents, siblings, etc, so that fills out the under-the-tree aspect of things... so stockings are a BIG part of our Christmas.

I personally like chocolate in mine so I can munch it whilst I wait for everyone else to wake up and I like odd shaped things so that I can try to work out what is in there in the dark. I should say that as I still live with my parents and I've never moved out and become a proper grown up I still get children's Christmas so my stocking arrives through the night and I find it at the bottom of my bed when I wake up - it's still magic

For my son, I always get underwear, toothpaste, toothbrush, candy, bath sponges and a DVD. My mom and my dad still give us stockings, I love it! Its so much fun to get that small gift. One thing I like is that my dad will actually pick out the stuff for me, my brother, my sister and my son, while his wife, my step-mom, does her kids and their kids. Its fun to see what little things my dad chooses for us.

socks
dishcloths
kitchen utensils

But my BIL started this goofy thing where we all look for something that does NOT fit into the stocking. Like a roll of garbage bags, bag of rice, pineapple...etc.. We get kinda crazy each year!
