Default Help me choose some new bedding!

So, Jeff bought this rug for our bedroom:

While I like it, it's not exactly what I had in mind (we had a miscommunication, and he thought I said to go ahead and order it). So, now I'm trying to find some bedding that will look good with this. We have a king size bed, we're painting the walls a light neutral tan color (like from the rug), and we have lots of dark wood trim. He's also building us a dark wooden headboard, too. We'll be getting new curtains, too, but that'll come sometime this spring... the bedding is the more pressing issue.

Anyway, I've looked at so many quilts/comforters that they're all starting to look alike. I think we'd maybe like to try to pull some of the blue from the rug and use that in the bedding, but that's as far as I've gotten. Does anyone have any suggestions?

we've had it for 6 months, washed it several times, etc. and had no issues with the puckering coming undone. We love it.

Thanks for all the feedback! I ended up finding one from JC Penney that I really love. I'm not 100% sure how well it'll go with the rug, but I love the quilt enough that I'm willing to give it a shot.

Love that set! I do prefer a quilt to a comforter. So much warmer.

Oh sure!! Here it is: Angelina Quilt

After looking at the rug in our room this morning, I really think it's going to look great. Now we just have to figure out the wall color. I thought we had settled on a nice neutral tan/taupe, but now Jeff is trying to talk me into a COLOR. Blech. We've got color thoughout the house. I really just want a nice warm neutral bedroom. *sigh*

You could compromise and do just the wall that your bed is against in a really nice aqua/teal to match the bed. Or a green. I think that would look nice.

That's a nice idea! That's actually the color he's pushing for, too! LOL
