Default Healthy in 2012 Club: week 02/11 - 02/18

Finally getting over my cold/sinus infection. I did 2 miles on the elliptical yesterday. I am trying to do 2 miles each day, either walking, jogging, or on the elliptical.

What are your exercise goals this week?

I pulled out my old walk away the pounds DVDs and my goal is to do them 5-6 times this week...I did it a few times this week and I lost weight...woohoo...and I started 100 crunches for 100 days so I'll continue with that

my sinus are acting up again... and all I can think is not again! So in a bit I'm gonna hit the gym hard and do a double workout. Plus my hubby will be mia this coming week so going to the gym with kids is not possible. (Our gym has no child care and no one under 14 is allowed in.)

Today is my rest day, but I weighed myself yesterday and I've lost 2 kilos in 2 weeks. Woohoo! Betcha I plateau now :/

This week I'm planning on continuing with 30DS Level 2 each morning, and doing another Zumba class on Thursday.

Weigh in yesterday and it was another 2lb off. I'm 3 & a 1/2 away from my 14lb award so I would love to get that next Sat but if I follow my 2lb each week it'll take me 2 more weeks.

I'm not stressing over the gym this week, the kids are off school for a week and with OH working 2 shifts a day at work and having a few hours sleep during the day I don't know how much gym time I can fit in. I will be going swimming twice with Jack so I can do a few laps of the pool with him so at least I'll be doing something!

I'm am struggling so much with the food aspect of losing weight.

Last week I ran 3 miles 2 days, walked 5 miles another, and walked 1.7 miles with my son at his walk-a-thon. The exercise I don't mind...I rather enjoy it.

This week...I am going to start counting my calories again with FatSecret.com. When I see the number I tend to watch more what I am putting in my mouth. I've already counted breakfast so I'm on the right track today.

I like the 100 crunches in 100 days thing Rachelle...maybe I'll start that!

I've been horrible. Don't even want to get on the scale...

So my goal for the coming week - work out 5 days (walk 3 and zumba 2) and write down everything I'm eating. Definitely do-able!

I lost 3.1 lbs this week and walked a little with the dogs, but not enough for it to really count as true exercise. I struggle with getting outside in the cold weather. Truthfully, I just don't want to, so I don't. I've promised myself that once it warms up, I will do some serious walking. Not sure what I will do beyond that, but I used to love step aerobics so maybe I can check into what we have in this area.

I really need to exercise. About two weeks ago my foot started hurting and I'm still having a lot of issues with it. I think I sprained it. I haven't had a chance to stay off of it to give it the rest it likely needs (what mom CAN stay off her feet??) so its been a battle. I wake up and it feels okay but its always hurting within an hour and continues to hurt until sometime in the middle of the night when I've finally rested enough for it to stop throbbing. So, no exercise goals for me at this point. I just want my foot to get better. I'm doing well losing weight without exercise by eating healthy but I'd like to get some exercise in. I miss the activity! I did a lot of walking at work on Thursday and boy could I feel it on Friday. I was sore all over (and my foot was miserable).

My daughter won a membership to the rec center through school and they have a gym for members. I can't wait to feel better so we can take advantage of that!

Gemma, I hear ya. My OH is in the field so the gym is out this week. I'm gonna watch what I eat and maybe try a home video. Or maybe just take the week off from exercise.
Sherri, sorry to hear about your foot. I hope it gets better soon!

Sounds like for the most part everyone is doing pretty good.
It is monday here and the start of a new week for me. I weighed in and am down another pound.

I get this way. I had a couple days week before last that I was bad. I ate everything in sight. I woke up and decided that was that, and I was gonna start over and do better. You can do it!
