Default Photoshop elements organiser help

Hi there everyone
I've been learning to use Organiser in my Photoshop Elements 13 program and I've been merrily tagging things and organising my scrapbooking supplies but I have a question.....
When I'm scrapbooking and I want to add an element or paper etc I hit "file" then "place" and then it opens a windows file explorer and I usually use the find button within that to search...for example I might need "yellow + flower" and it will come up with all the files I have named yellow flower and I can choose one.

My question is can I access Organiser to search for and add an element to my scrapbook page? I love the way you can tag items and it would be great if I could access that while I'm scrapping so I can find just the right piece.

Hope that makes sense?(I'm pretty new still to Photoshop and digi scrapping so forgive me if it's a crazy question!)

Thanks!!

Hi Suzanne!

I wish I could help you, but I don't know anything at all about the Organizer in PSE. I just didn't want you to think that no one was willing to help answer you... I just really don't know the answer.

Welcome to Sweet Shoppe though! So glad you're here!

Sorry...I haven't used the organizer in PSE. I've been using Windows Photo Gallery (free from Microsoft). I have LOTS of tags (so I can see groups of things by tag), plus I can also see the file structure if I remember something is from a particular designer. To open things in PSE I just select what I want (even multiples), right click and choose 'open in Photoshop'.

Can your right click on the item? Maybe yours has a right click option?

Hi there,

Thanks for the replies So it looks like you can right click and copy it from Organiser and then paste it onto the the PE page I'm working on!
Off to scrap!
