If you're thinking of getting the Nikon D80
Then I suggest you go to Ritz online, or to a store near you THIS WEEK!
We stopped by on friday while we were killing time before meeting up wtih some people. I checked out the XSi, cuz they actually had it in stock, and decided I still liked the D80 better (I actually like that it's heavier, and it sits in my hand better). So the girl pulls out the circular, and they are having a sale on them!! The D80 and the kits they offer for it, are all $100 off this week (apparently it's a Mother's Day sale), PLUS you get a FREE 55-200mm Quantaray lens with your purchase!!! Check it out! That's the kit I got. Body and the 18-55mm AF VR Nikkor lens. Friggen awesome. Plus, I was thinking of getting the 55-200mm, so now I don't even have to spend the money on it yet! Flippin FREE! My whole purchase (body, 2 lenses, memory cards, and a filter set) came to just over $1,000. I totally win. I'm SO stoked. I took a zillion pictures of Tiger in the pool on saturday and I can't wait to scrap wtih them  3fps rocks my socks

Yea I'm way excited about it, lol. It's been a long 2 years, but the wait was totally worth it! I love this thing!!

Wow that is awesome! I am sooo wanting a DSLR and am looking to get one with the refund, but haven't made up my mind on what I want yet. I will def look into this! Thanks! And congrats on your new baby! LOL!!

That is a good deal. I got my D80 last year for Mother's day, and we spent right at $1000 and got the 18-135 in lieu of the kit lens. I am just now finally getting my 50mm 1.8 for mother's day this year.
I love the D80! Have fun with it!

Yea the 50mm 1.8 is next on my list. Especially since I saved money when I bought the stuff in the first place.
