ok so I got one today after my Michael's tracked one down for me at another notsonearby Michaels..but anyways how long til that horrid smell is gone? I mean it smells terrible!!! I do love the note about the odor though hahaha

LOL- I didn't have a note in mine about a smell......but after just sniffing mine, it does smell a little funny. Nothing noticeable unless I'm literally touching it though, and it's hanging on the wall next to my desk, so I'm sure my super-sensitive nose would be annoyed if it lasted. Hilarious!

Let it air out in the garage for a week. You can also try rubbing a dryer sheet over it.

Those are awesome, but I don't have walls in my scrap room (just cabinets). I guess remodeling just to be able to buy one of those would be kinda silly?

I don't know if it's the same smell but my paper trimmer also had a smell.
