PGAD Feb 2: If I were 19 again...
Hello Sweet Shoppers... and a huge Happy Birthday to the sweetest place in the land... Sweet Shoppe Designs!!! It is day 2 of a whole month of fun coming your way.... are you ready?
February 2nd is Groundhog's Day in the States... and as nod to the greatest (and probably only) movie of all time about this holiday... all you have to do is say what would you do if you could relive being 19 again. Super easy!! CHALLENGE INSTRUCTIONS: The challenge is simple... 1. Copy the saying "If I were 19 again… “ in a new replay below. 2. and complete the saying. Examples: If I were 19 again…I'd embrace all my bad haircuts as 'experimental phases. If I were 19 again…I’d eat pizza every day, because hey, I could still get away with it back then! If I were 19 again… I’d start my own reality show—'19 and Overconfident. If I were 19 again… I’d skip all the boring stuff and just travel the world in a van with a llama named Fred a lama. You can be serious or silly... and you only need to post one to win the prize. DEADLINE & PRIZE You have until Tuesday, February 4th @ Midnight Eastern Time to play along with my game. If I were 19 again, I would have taken chemistry to see if I could have conquered it. If I were 19 again, I would have been braver to experience this world with travel. If I were 19 again, I would have told myself, "You're doing a pretty good job with your life, don't be nervous, you can do anything!"

If I were 19 again...I would take better care of my physical health.
If I were 19 again...I would follow through on finishing my honor's thesis. If I were 19 again...I would take my student teaching more seriously and try to learn from my mentor teachers.

If I were 19 again I would go through that trunk of old photos (some from the early 1900s!) at my grandma's, scan them and ask her to tell me all the stories about them to record even if just on a tape player/recorder to have to do something after college with to be sure they were all preserved

If I were 19 again…I would already have become vegan and started living more sustainably. And not listening to my mother who wanted me to work and stop my art education.

If I was 19 again, I'd choose a better college/university path for myself so I didn't end up with a huge student debt and no qualifications to show for it. (Don't worry I did go back several years later and complete a degree that was far better suited to me, I just should have waited to do it rather than waste time & money to start with)
If I was 19 again, I'd advocate for my health more....not saying I didn't but looking back there are times I now realize I could have prevented years of discomfort & pain if I'd only been a stronger advocate for myself at the time. If I was 19 again, I'd save more of my wages from working part time

If I were 19 again… I would not have gone out to party and meet my friends when it had been snowing and the roads were so slippery and I broke my very first car that my grandpa had given me (out of all the other grandchildren he had)
Don't be jealous of my first car! haha

If I were 19 again..... I would have said no when my friend asked me if she could cut my hair... into a mullet!
 If I were 19 again.... I might have told myself that I COULD be successful and complete a veterinary program despite our professors constantly trying to tell us how hard it would be for women. I didn't have enough confidence then. If I were 19 again.... I would have looked into studying abroad.... I've still never made it to Europe. If I were 19 again.... I would have learned more financial literacy and investing so my life wouldn't be a constant struggle with money.

If I were 19 again, I would have dumped that loser boyfriend for good.
If I were 19 again, I would have prioritized friendships with girls that made me feel happy and confident. If I were 19 again, I would have seen a doctor about my ADHD symptoms so that I could understand myself better and show myself more grace.
