...so I sent the girls off to school today. Emmie was soo excited to be starting Kindergarten this year but wow it's quiet here. I'm soo gonna miss them. Thought I'd post a pic and share my first day blues...



Any other mommies out there a bit sad when summer is over and their kids go back?

My kids aren't in school yet but I can feel your pain. I will be a mess when I send mine (if we send them...we are trying to decide if homeschooling would be better). I was thinking though of how early school started for you guys.

Oh girl I'm right there with you. My kids start back 2 weeks from today. My baby will be starting middle school, and my oldest will be in high school. WAH!!!!! I'll be a big old blubbering mess that day. No doubt.

My oldest will be starting 3rd grade but not till Sept 2nd. I am so dreading it. I don't want the summer to be over.

LOL...well we buy them matching clothes because otherwise they fight - "I want that one too" etc. I tried to discourage them wearing the same thing on the same day today, but they both insisted that this was THE outfit they wanted to wear.

And yeah...lots of andy interview time now

Oh that pic is adorable! I'm going to be a bit sad this year as well, although I have another 4 weeks to go. We don't go back until September 2nd.

My 4 year old starts preschool as well, so that's the one I'm really not looking forward too... LOL!

Wow, your kids start early! Mine doesn't start until after Labor Day. At 13 years old, I can only WISH that she started today! (I start back to college a week before she starts back to school. Hardly seems fair!)

Thank goodness that swim practice starts next Monday. That'll give me a few hours of drama free time everyday.

we start on the 19th and the kiddies are stoked. i sure will miss 'em around though. i enjoy seeing them all day! my youngest wee one is a kindergartner so thats gonna be tough! i'll start the back to school blues with you today, robin.

your girls are soooo cute!!!! hannah was supposed to start pre-k this year, but we can't get her birth certificate right now, so we're out until next year, but she is going to start dance classes this fall and I am FREAKING out about leaving her with a stranger for an hour once a week... yeah, school is NOT gonna be fun next year!

Hmmm...I think at this point, with all the shizzle going on with our move, I'd SO love for the girls to go to school. Unfortunately, I have NO FREAKING IDEA where they will begin the year.

This is me right now, we were already supposed to be gone, and we are still here. We start school on Sept 3, and I just don't know what to be doing!

Amelia starts kindergarten this year too, so it'll just be me and Rae for the year, then SHE goes next year, and I'll be all alone. I'll be so lost without them here!
