I just feel like crap today. Things are SO tense around here with Jaime's impending deployment. It's 2 weeks away and he has so much on his mind that he's a big crab. I don't blame him, but I'd much rather be spending this time with him in a positive manner if you KWIM. The girls are both worried and don't want him to go and I'm trying to be strong and convince him that we're going to be fine while he's gone... when I'm still not sure of that myself.

He's being really great with the girls... spending lots of time with them and trying not to lose his temper, but with me not so much. I am trying to understand and remember that I'm the one he's supposed to be able to show how he's REALLY feeling, but I'm getting my feelings hurt in the meantime.

Winter in Germany sucks for me anyway cuz it's so gloomy here... I always get depressed til Spring, but this year it's really bad.

Thanks for letting me whine... anyone got any cheese?

i'm sad for you. not in a pitiful, woe is me kind of way or anything. just down right sad. i wouldn't wish these worried/scared/tense feelings on anyone...especially a friend.
