The following conversation just took place in my house following the announcement of Heath Ledger as best supporting actor...

Jeff - Is he not there?
Me - (look of wtf on my face) Um, he's DEAD?
Jeff - what? when did he die?
Me - ARE YOU SERIOUSLY ASKING ME THIS??
Jeff - I didn't know he died, when did he die, what happened?
Me - Seriously????????????

OK, THAT's HILARIOUS!! I was laughing out loud when my son came in the room so I had to read it to him too. So funny! Did you tell your DH we are all laughing at him?

That's OK, he's a nice guy and he's got way more important things going on! If it makes him feel better I'll even admit that I didn't know Paul Newman died until like weeks later!
