Default Seriously... shoot me.

I get foot cramps in the morning if I try to get up and moving before my body "Wakes up". It's so bad today, I could weep like a sissy little girly-man. I was sick to my stomach trying to drive Faith to school today! I've seen my doc about it in the past and he basically says it's no big deal.... massage, stretch, vitamins, blahfricketyblah. OMGAH Advil... kick in now!!!

So yes... take me out to the silo, Old Yeller Style, and put me out of my misery!

/whine.

Get a second opinion Annie! I personally would find a naturopathic doctor to help. They are expensive (I don't know how expensive in comparison to the doctors visits in the states... we don't pay medical here, but do have to pay naturopath).

I can't even count how many times I've heard about friends & family having issues, the doctors brushing it aside with pills, or nothing at all, only to find out from the naturopathic doctor that it was indeed "something" and that it doesn't take that much to fix it.

For me personally, I've had headaches, HORRIBLE menstraul cramps, low energy, and about 400 other symptoms all rolled into one. I've been complaining to my doctor of all these different things since I was 16, and they would half-a$$ed treat each thing. It wasn't until I went to a naturopathic doctor, talked to her about my problems, and had my blood tested & analyzed that I got answers. All my problem was was my diet and I had a wicked case of Candida. As soon as I got that under control, I feel SO MUCH BETTER! I don't have headaches, when I get my period I don't even have to take anything (this is HUGE... I've been on codiene & prescription drugs for the pain since I was 14), and I don't have the stupid rash the doctors refused to treat - saying it was nothing. Yeah, it was. I would have been a big scab by now if I hadn't got it treated by the nat. doctor.

Woah. That was a novel. Sorry for boring you!

When I was in basic training I got horrible calf cramps every single night when I laid down. If I massaged them before going to sleep for a good amount of time, I wouldn't get them. It was strange.

I got those when I was pregnant and I can soooooooooo sympathize because they are so freakin' agonizing. I agree that you might want to try a second opinion or some other form of treatment (wonder if acupuncture works for that?).

Oh, I had another thought. Maybe check in with a pediatrist... you know, the foot doctors? Maybe it has something to do with not having enough support for your feet??

I get them too and they're not "normal" cramps that go away in a few. You can actually see my toes rolled up and the muscles contracting......it is really nasty and they have been known to last for 30+ minutes. Same with the calves. It is the worst freaking pain ever. I am not kidding you, I'd rather be burned or cut with something than deal with them. If I make sure I'm getting enough water, sleep, and certain vitamins then I don't have them as much. Many other weird little things like that go on with me too. I've been to a neurologist a few times with no help. Annie, I feel your pain girl. I think we need to see a naturopathic or however you spell it. ((((HUGS))))

Thanks for the loves girls <3

It feels better now (ie: I can actually walk without wanting to vomit) but only after the Advil and MASSIVE amounts of water. Luckily it's a pretty rare occurance but GEEZ, what a crappy way to start the day!

And yep Amy, it's totally gonna be sore tomorrow yet too.
