Strep throat
I think I have it. I woke up this morning, and my throat was a little sore. I figured it was just dry. I drank some hot tea and it felt better for a little while, but then started getting worse. Now it feels like it's on fire and my head is pounding. I looked at my throat and it's not pretty. I have to leave here to take the dog to the vet for her vaccinations in 15 minutes. But after we're done, I'm going to take myself to our nearby urgent care place rather than trying to get in to see the doctor. It's a good walk-in clinic and it's covered by insurance. I HATE BEING SICK!

I haven't had strep throat in soooo many years. I can barely remember what it feels like. But DS#1 had it twice last year, and he was miserable. Hope you'll be feeling better soon!

I am so sorry. Take it easy and definitely get to a doctor because strep never seems to get better on its own.
