Next time you see your parents, give them a hug and tell them you love them! We never know when it'll be our last.
Oh, and everything is okay with mine. I've had 2 dear friends in the past 1 1/2 weeks lose their parents suddenly. I'm sitting here with my parents now and cannot imagine not having them here. |

I totally agree and when my mom lives in VA and I am in WA, this doesn't happen very often...I was sooo glad to see my sister in Vegas I didn't know what to do....it had been 4 years since I had seen her!

ITA -Having just lost my mom last month - I can tell you from first hand experience that they can be gone in an instant! I have to say that my sister is dealing with so much guilt right now because the last time she saw my mom, she was angry at her. So - let your parents know how much you love them!!!!!

Aggrement here too! With being stationed everywhere, I rarely get to hug my mom. And lost my dad 5 years ago. Its something I wouldn't wish on anyone!

totally agree! I lost my mama 12 years ago and it breaks my heart to think of the times she said come give me a hug and I totally snubbed her b/c I was angry or being a brat.

That's so true... I can't sleep if I haven't told them I love them and gave them a hug.
