absolutely worth the money. Had a fabulous time without lines DURING spring break, one of their busiest times. Lynnette used Tour Guide Mike too. I specifically used Bret's version of TGM's plan (when you join the site, you can ask or hunt for that). The only time we had a line for anything was when we went off the plan. LOL... so we only did that once, learned the lesson, and got back on track. It was amazing. Seriously amazing. Some people don't like following a plan, but I can only say that your experience will be less waiting in line if you take the effort to follow the plans. And definitely join the club for the month that you are going. It's great to bounce around ideas and plans with people that really know disney and will be there the same time you will be. So... when are you going?! I'm totally jealous!

I love TGM. I actually have a membership right now because we were planning to do a dual Disney/Universal trip, but we realized we can't afford to do both, so we're only doing Universal. Renewed my TGM before we made that realization. It's a lot of information and it's not going to spit out -- go here, then there -- but it's worth reading.

Another option is to subscribe to touringplans.com It's a website by the people who write the Unofficial Guide to WDW and a subscription comes with their Lines app. If you have a Droid or iPhone, you can get the Lines App and it will give you real time waiting times for each ride/attraction at WDW. It's cheaper than TGM, but I need the TGM philosophy to help me use the Lines stuff to the fullest potential.

P.S. Cindy -- we're going to Orlando at the end of May! We're deep into planning!

Thanks for the info Kim!
We were thinking of visiting Universal Studios for a day when we are there, but I think it's going to add too much to the cost and be too overwhelming for just one day. We will probably plan it at some point in the future!

I totally *heart* TGM! This will probably sound cheesy, but I've found myself adopting some of his touring philosophies to my everyday life over the last few years (ie. "ropedropping" certain places and events in order to avoid crowds).

On the downside, if you follow the TGM philosophy, you really do get spoiled with not having to wait in line! My DD gets impatient if we have to wait in line longer than 10 minutes! Seriously, if you have any questions at all, Cindy, I'd be happy to try and help. My family and I just got back from WDW on Dec. 21st and had a great time as always, even though we were there during one of the busiest times of the year.

I highly recommend visiting the forums if you decide to join. You will find tons of great info! My TGM username is Kendall2 if you wanna be buddies.
