Default Is your kiddo a good secret keeper? Mine's not.

So far I know I'm getting a blue (two different kinds of blue) flower painting that he made at school and a card that I had to make him hush about before he told me what it said too.

If hubby had actually gotten me a real present yet, I would probably know that too...good thing he's a last minute shopper.

So anyone else know what you're getting for Mother's Day? LOL!

LOL - my DD is a good secret keeper, although she only has to keep her own secret since it's just she and I.

LOL. My 7 year old was so excited about the flower recipe/photo clip he made me at school that telling me about it wasn't enough--he had to give it to me today! He's a mediocre secret keeper. He won't come right out and tell you the secret, but you hear lots of comments like, "I wish I could tell you about your present" and "I know what your present is!" My 5 year old and 2 year old? Forget it. They tell all as soon as they know.

since my boys are older now I dont get those cute homemade gifts they used to make in elementary school but my daughter always does something for me. I usually do not know until she gives it to me but alot of times she cannot wait either.

I'm getting a May calendar. And I only know that b/c I'm the only one who EVER goes through Luke's backpack. And when I pulled it out I said, "Oh a May calendar..." He yelled, "DON'T LOOK AT THAT! Aw, man. That was for mother's day." LOL

oh, there are some funny stories on here. Nicholas (he's 4) keeps telling me he worked on a surprise at school this week, but he actually hasn't told me what it is yet. Which surprises me.

For Christmas, his dad & I each took him shopping for a present for the other that he would choose. As we were telling him about it, he instantly shouted, "I wanna get Mommy a necklace!" We explained about surprises, then his dad took him first, they were seriously back in like 30 minutes and he right away yells, "I got you a heart necklace!". So we explained it again. Then I took him shopping for his dad and he just kept telling me he wanted some candy or a smoothie. I had to call his dad ask for a list of a few things he wanted, then tell Nicholas to choose 1 and then we looked for that and picked one out. I think his dad had an easier time shopping. lol

My daughter made me a card and gift and for some reason thought a really good place to hide it was in the cabinets underneath my bathroom sink - something I open every day to get my hair dryer, etc. So needless to say, I see it every day just sitting there, but she still thinks I haven't "seen" it. So I will have to act surprised when she gives it to me.
