Ugh... just the thought of scrapping a page just traditionally... and I get all clammy and throw up a bit in my mouth... lol! Yet - can I get rid of all the paper in my basement... nope... I have to keep some, just in case...

I keep trying to scrap a page traditionally, but can't seem to do it. Except for my kids' school albums which is basically just putting their school picture on one side of the layout and class photo on the other, then putting any certificates and school papers in page protectors in between. Anything else for that year I'm scrapping digitally. I don't really count that as paper scrapping .

ETA: I've pretty much given up and I've decided to get rid of all my old paper supplies. At least all the patterned papers, I may keep the solids for card-making (for now).

I like to make paper mini albums for vacations and special events. Sometimes I mix in digital, but putting my hands on paper feels good sometimes.

I still like doing paper once in awhile... I meet up with friends at Archivers once in awhile and it's a great excuse for me to finish up some of my older albums

When I first started digital, I thought I would never go 100% digital. Ha. I'm 100% digital and don't own any traditional paper, stickers, etc. I do still have my trimmer and some corner punches. Oh and ribbon. But I'm not sure why?

ahh love it! I'm not the only one!

I just did a traditional one and it was a patterned paper, one photo, one paper... and a stamped word with some small journaling... yep thats it

thats really cool Libby that you worked with mags and manufacturers. Sounds like a fun job!

i've been 'only digi' for about 8 months now, though I hadn't bought traditional 12x12 paper in over 3 years prefering to only print what I need from digi designers. I tossed all my paper products (paper, stickers etc) at the begining of the year and kept only the brads and blings and ribbons. But I actually have no desire to use it. I'll give it a few more months then if I have not used it, I'll get rid of those too

I'd love to scrap some of my older photos traditionally rather than scanning them, but first I have to buy all the supplies (I don't have anything ). And I prefer buying digital kits.

I started paper scrapbooking in 1996 and scrapped all the time. But I started digi about 5 or 6 years ago and haven't been back since. My digital pages are so much better, but now I have mounds of paper supplies that are stuck up in my attic. I need to get my butt in gear and just sell some of it... But at this point, I've been thinking of giving most of it to my kids for craft projects.

All my scrapbooking these days is digital. I use to rock the paper scrapbooking though. I still have a majority of my supplies and can't seem to get rid of them. Currently trying to find storage solutions for my new study to house it all. It drives my hubby crazy because I haven't used it much in the last 3 years.

I started paper scrapping 18 years ago ... I went digi ... and I was never again happy with my paper scrapping ... so little by little I have sold probably 90% of my paper supplies ... I still have some for hybrid projects.

This is me. I was rubber stamping and then paper scrapbooking for many years before going digital. But I haven't used the paper stuff much since then. For me the issue is how much adhesive I have to use

I've thought about giving up some of the paper and stickers, etc., but I keep finding something I can do with it here and there (esp. hybrid projects), so I don't give it up. And every once in a while I get a little more paper (usually petelated) and other "stuff".

I agree with you FireWolf. I have a number of people I know in the paper scrapping world (both designers and store owners) and times have been tough on the industry and them for several reasons, including the move of some people to digital.

I do both, but the paper is just for a few occasional pictures and LO's now. I scrap 90% of my LO's digitally.

I've never once scrapped a traditional paper scrapbook page and I never want too!!!! Now I love me some hybrid...but even then most of it's 90% digital and I've stuck a flower here and a button there and then maybe ran it through my sewing machine.....I don't like paper scrapping!!!

Like Nikki, I did 1 paper page before going over to digi. No, that's not true. I did 1 paper page, then 1 hybrid page (mostly done on the computer), then tried 100% digi and never looked back. I can't cut a straight line--what was I thinking trying to paper scrap? My paper page looks like a kindergartner made it. I have a small stash of bling, ribbons, ink, and adhesive purchased for hybrid cards, but that's it.

I still have too much craftelated physical stuff I can't part with, but mine is yarn and fabric that I don't use much anymore. I keep telling myself that I will go back to crocheting and sewing one day. Maybe I will...I'm making a baby blanket for my first nephew right now, and it's reminding me how much I like it. That happens every time I get close to donating all of it, LOL.

I picked both only because I still have my dd's first year to paper scrap. I started out paper scrapping in 1997 ... we had to use something called "film" back then. Once I get rid of the "real" pics then I will get rid of my "paper" supplies.
