Default Do you feel like you ALWAYS need a title on your page?

Saw the thread by farrijc about needing a title for her LO which got me thinking- do you feel like you always need a title with your page? Or do you use some word art that is in the kit for your title?

I'm a big fan of titles and title work but I don't think every page needs it, I don't even think you have to use word art. I have pages with and without.

I try not to get hung up on titles... if it's going to clog up the creative juices from flowing, I just avoid doing a title entirely. I have a hard time because I like my titles to be clever or at least connected somehow to the subject matter and not get too repetitive... often it's impossible to think of something. I think it's like photos, or journaling... not every scrapbook page needs it.

I can't really think of any page I've done without a title without going back and looking. To me, a title is the synopsis of what the photos/journaling are about. But then I don't do a lot of the type of layouts that lend difficulty to thinking of a title. It's usually pretty easy for me to come up with one.

Yes, I do feel like I need a title. and I make it hard for myself. I journal in Dutch but I like English titles better.
In the future I hope to use more Dutch titles lik Kim does.

Nope, not at all. I do lots of pages without titles and that is fine with me. I think a great title can make a page but a poor one can break it and I'd rather skip the title if I am not inspired.

I love title work so I almost always include them. I don't think you need them on your page if you don't want them though.

I never answered my own question. I dont think every page needs a title. Often times I just use the word art provided in the kit to title my LO.

I don't think pages look weird without a title, but for some reason I always have to put one on mine.

I'm with Kristin, I don't think they are a must have, but I seem to always have them.

I actually don't think all layouts need titles... Although almost all of mine do In some cases, like the layout I posted yesterday, there is a specific spot on the template for a title and I purposely leave it bare to add a title in the end. Sometimes I ignore the title spot, but other times I really like the placement and go with it.

I voted other but I really don't have a strong opinion on this. Sometimes I want them and sometimes I don't. It just depends on the look of the page and what I need (or don't need) to balance it out.

Yes, I usually feel like I *need* to have a title. However I suck at coming up with titles, so I usually go with something totally boring and uncreative, or else I use the title of the kit

I've started to realize since early this year that I don't wanna stress over titles, lol. Like, if there's awesome wordart I'll use it, but if not--I'm not above posting a layout without a title

I always use a title. But I do also use WORD-ART for titles too. To me that's a title. Can't think I've done anything that didn't have any type of title what-so-ever.

My new trick (and one that Nikki mentioned using, too) is to use a piece of wordart as my quasi-title. I am a terrible title maker-upper. I think my creativity is sapped by the time I get to the title of the page.

Ironically, I collect alphas, but never use them. Clearly I have issues.

This exactly is the reason I stopped stressing over my titles this year, lol.

I don't always have a title beacuse sometimes the pictures just speak for themselves so I don't try to get hung up on a title, but some of my pages I really want a ttile on so try to have the perfect title (for me) before I even start

This is me! Every now and then, a title seems to fit and is already in my head, but I've long since tried to come up with them. I used to stress about them, now I don't do them unless it's already in my head or comes to me while I'm scrapping.
