yeah, not fun - shopping for a new suit... Good Luck! That is why when I find a style I like, I grab like 3 pairs... which brings up sad news - Land's End discontinued my favorite style...

But, YAY on Disney!!

oh yeah... hate it!!! Have a great time at Disney though! I have to go nursing bra shopping this week and I dread that just as much as swimsuit shopping because there just isn't anything pretty in my size, lol.

I think it is hysterical that Aaron was the first to respond! LOL

Good luck finding the perfect suit! It will all be worth it once you are at Disney having fun with your family!

Cindy: I sooo sympathize! I have to go shopping too, or else I'll have to go in the pool in shorts and t-shirt, lol! But have a good trip at Disney. We are going in 5 months, yay!!!

Heather: do you know about these nursing camis? Everybody who get them swear by them. I had their bras when nursing and they were really comfy.

Ooh I feel your pain. That ranks pretty high on the It Bites list Disney, however, sounds like a lot of fun. You have light at the end of the spandex. Good luck!

I feel your pain about the swimsuit, Cindy! But, Disney?! Yay!!!

Sears Canada has a lot of really good separates right now. I bought this one:
http://www.sears.ca/product/christin...73551-3005451D

and it is very flattering, even on me who could use a whole lot more exercise time, haha! Hides a multitude of sins without being a tent cover-up.

Ugh Cindy...I can relate. In fact, I just avoid. lol

But I went shopping with my girlfriend for a new swimsuit (for her) last weekend and they've got soooo many cute styles! And the colors are awesome.

Have fun in Disney - which one are you going to?

Cindy have you ever heard of this site:

www.hapari.com

I have several tankinis from there and they are fabulous! They are true to size, too. If you end up getting one, here's a coupon code for 10% off: JEN2011

If you have questions on sizing, please PM me, I love them, they're flattering, and everything stays tucked in while you're playing with the kids. I can't be bothered by things flying everywhere, if you know what I mean.

Have a blast in Disney! I love that place, it's been 4 yrs since we've gone and I'm dying to sneak a trip in this year... fingers crossed!

Yes I can totally relate! We are going to St. Thomas in a month, so I am also going to have to drag myself out for some dreaded swimsuit shopping. Guess the only thing that makes it worth it for us is the destination

We are going to the beach next week, my swimsuit is too big and I nearly fall out of it. I am taking it anyway, cause I don't wanna shop for a new one. lol Its awful. I tried a few on, I hate that they all seem to have no support for the boobs, so I give up.

Oh I feel you! We go every July to Sarasota and every year I get e new swimsuit to take. It's like mission impossible to find a flattering one piece. Ever since having my first son I have stretch marks on my belly. Now with the second its worse. I am not looking forward to looking for another suit this year.

Good Luck Cindy!

Yes, bathing suit shopping is the worst shopping there is! But at least you get the reward of Disney afterward. I want to try to find a more flattering suit (if there is such a thing for me ), but I keep putting it off. My only free time to go shopping alone is going to be on NSD--I have a funny feeling that it's not going to happen and I'll be sticking with my old suit this year.

i got one at target. i love target. they have cute separates. i've gotten swimsuits at target in the past, and they hold up well. if my ones from before still fit (too big), i'd still be wearing them. and they're 2 and 3 years old. but look practically new.

good luck! and i'm jealous of disney. i have only been once, and i want to go back so badly!

I got a cute tankini top and women's swim shorts from Target a week or so ago.

This:
tankini top

and these

swim shorts. The length is great - you don't have cheekage hanging out! They're a little bit longer than board shorts.

Ugh, don't remind me!! At least I won't need one until the end of July, so I still have time tone up (theoretically, anyway).

I love Tankini's (not love them on me...but I prefer them over one piece). These are soooo cute. I'm definitely going to order something from them! Thanks for the link up!

I understand. I was 6 months post partum the last time I bought one, and I hated it. Lands End makes great suit that give really good coverage. And they are cute. Sears near our house has a lands end section. Not sure if you have a local Sears or if it has Lands End in it. You have probably already found something, but just thought I would share.
