I miss JIF PB! I live in Norway and the ONLY place I can get it here charges a ridiculous price for it. I used to live in VA and there's so much I miss that I can't get ahold of here. Good PB is one of those (and Starbucks...ahhh don't get me started)...

Sorry I just about hi-jacked your thread Kristin!

It's cheaper for us to mail my sister in Germany peanut butter than it is for her to buy it there. Every so often, I mail her a care package of peanut butter, moist cake mix, and frosting, and she mails me a care package of milchreis and gum.

Kristin, I LOVE peanut butter and broccoli, actually

My grandmother's grocery store has a "butter grinder" where it's just salted nuts put through a grinder to make various "butters." Her selections are peanut, cashew, or almond. I'm partial to the cashew!!! It's all organic, and is delicious!

Yeah, that don't surprise me at all. I have family in the US but I usually wish for clothing for my son instead when they ship stuff over, I'm a Gap/Janie&Jack and Gymboree fan and although Gap and Gymboree ships internationally, the shipping prices they charge are ridiculous.

Now, back to the PB...Do you buy it whipped or did you whip it?

Ok - you have to explain. What is whipped PB? Is it bought like that or do you do something to PB to make it whipped? I love PB, so if its an improvement on it I may have to start importing

...I now have all sorts of strange images in my head about horse whips & PB. Very disturbing. And possibly illegal
