Arrow Pinterest Challenge week of 8/29

This challenge is simple - pick one thing out of the bajillion things you've pinned in the past and do it this week.

Show us what you're GOING to do..and update with results. Whether it's color inspiration, a recipe, an idea for organizing, a word art piece you intend to live by, show us what has inspired you and then let us know how it worked out!

I've had Marsala wine for AGES and not known what to do until someone pinned this last week (I think it was Tracy) -

I'm going to make these but I couldn't get my hands on peanut butter chips so I'll have to skip them -

Done the brownies, I had some Reece's Pieces stored away so I put a few of them on each one instead and I put them in paper cases to save on the washing up a bit lol -

Gemma - make the peanut butter brownie cups anyway - you don't need the peanut butter chips - I promise!

I've had my pins I want to try open in tabs since yesterday. Here's mine:

Scrapping-wise, I want to be inspired by these:

For my nails, I want to do this:

And for food, I'm making this:

And darn it, I still want to take Zach's photos on that stack of books! It just didn't happen last week...

I'm definitely going to still do them, I probably won't notice the peanut butter chips are missing and neither will anyone else if I don't tell them lol!

I am for sure doing the crayon art this week, doing my nails (still deciding on the design), making some wall art, and for dinner I'm making the crock pot chicken one night this week.

I did one I did one!!! Wheee!

Original inspiration:

And here are mine - I made lors because I'm starting to get busy on preparing for a craft bazaar with my MOMS Club:

Mine are a bit less "neat" but I absolutely love them, as you can see i got a bit creative with different ways to use the wire - best part is that this craft was not spendy at all since i picked up a big bag of assorted beads for $5 - here they are around my neck:

um, I will be keeping one for SURE!

Yep I have a ring like that. 3 strands that go all the way around my finger and then circle the bead at the top. It's just one bead but I'm sure it would work with 3.

You can. I did one a few months ago, I used 3 strands of wire together, I think.

I used 24 gage silver coated jewelry wire in the beading section at craft warehouse - it was only like $3 and I could make at least a few more probably! It helped me too to look up "birds nest necklace diy" on you tube for a few more tips since the blog one linked to on pinterest gave really really general instructions and it is a bit hard to get the wire to all stay put at first. There are a zillion ways to do it on you tube.

Shawna, those are fabulous!
Heather, I thought about making those as well, but I don't think the boys would touch them!
I made these:

I am putting this together for the kids now:

(I am mostly camera-less this week, but will attempt a phone-pic of the final results)

ETA: It's not quite done yet, but here's what I think so far: it smells good, kids want to taste it, it tastes like bleh, don't make this if you're short on time or have weak arms...holy 20 minutes + of stirring....

It's cooling now, feels like play-doh though...

I've put my cake pops on hold, I tried some today and it didn't go so well so I'm going to try again next week and cheat by using a box of cake mix and ready made frosting and I'm going to do them when the kids are at school so I don't get disturbed!
