Default Retired Items

Two questions here

1) How do you keep track of retired items in your stash?

2) How do you credit retired items in galleries?

I don't label anything retired in my stash as "retired." It's happened that I've played with a kit, then went to post it in the galleries, looked for it in the shoppe and then realized it's been retired, lol.

In which case, I just credit as usual and then put (retired) beside the kit name.

I don't label my stash as retired or not. IMHO it's unnecessary. I don't direct-link kits in my credits, because in time those links wouldn't work (when kits retire, yes). And I never add the "retired" info in the credits. I see credits as a way of crediting the designer, and it doesn't matter to me whether it's an old kit or a one that's still sold.

I don't keep track of retired kits in my stash either. It just in the design's folder along with the others. When I credit something that has retired I may put (retired) after if I know it is no longer available.

in galleries, i put (retired) after the item in my credits list.

i have retired designers in their own folder. once i re-organize in january, i may start putting (R) after retired kits, just so i know. i tend to use one and then go to find it in the shop.. and see it's retired.

I cannot keep track of what's retired and what's not, and I don't look before I post. If it's made by a designer here, I post here... pretty sure that's OK.

It's a feat for me to keep track of credits. Trying to keep track of what's currently for sale and what's not would make me crazy.

This is me. Credits as such are quite time-consuming for me as I'm very much not a one-kit scrapper. It would be too much for me to check whether kits are retired. And it would bug me if I had non-functional links once the kits retire, so I don't direct-link to products.
