Happy thoughts needed (warning: whining inside)

OK, I just need to vent/whine/complain a bit...

My lappy went on the fritz a couple of weeks ago, and I was blessed enough to be able to uninstall photoshop and back everything up to my EHD. I was also blessed that the repairs to the laptop cost nothing (RAM was corrupt, and my Geek Squad warranty covered it).
Got the laptop back on Friday (after they misplaced/forgot about it on Wednesday)...started reinstalling Windows and assorted other programs. Saturday was busy, and mostly spent dealing with McAfee, which didn't want to load. Finally got it working, and installed my SSD kits, some scrap stuff, and SOME of my photos. By the time I finished 2 folders of photos, I was tired and went to bed, figuring I'd finish this morning.
Well...this morning, we woke up to a hot house...the AC had died overnight. The temperature hit 108 here today, and it was hotter inside our house than it was outside. The repairman finally got AC working about 8:30pm, but it was not cheap and we are going to have a tough time paying bills. (and this is so petty of me, but I'm bummed that my 40% SR is probably not going to get used!)
And not only had the AC died, but the EHD also bit the dust. No computer will recognize it....the error message I am getting suggests replacing the device. Well, that won't help! I'm seriously kicking myself for not finishing loading stuff only my laptop, because now the majority of my stuff is gone. We definitely can't afford to have any repairs, so recovery is not happening (and I have prob 350GB of stuff on there).
On top of all of that, I had to have a tooth pulled last week because my former incompetent dentist put a crown on improperly last August, and a bunch of bacteria was able to get in underneath. All 3 crowns she put on last year have been pulled off. The sutures that the dentist gave me after the tooth was pulled were ripped out while I was brushing my teeth, and now are hanging in there by one side of one suture...hoping he will remove that in the morning.

So that's been my weekend...I seriously could use some happy thoughts, something to make me giggle...something to lift my mood! Thanks for letting me vent and complain...hopefully I won't have any more need to whine anytime soon!
