From Couch to 5K - kit needed :)
So couch potato isn't exactly accurate ...more like desk potato Anyway, I've decided to run a 5K in 9 weeks. My husband (bless his heart...) is acting as my "coach" and helping me get out there and run and train for the race. I've never been athletic or run seriously so this is a big challenge for me, but it's one that need to do for the sake of my own health.
I'm looking for a kit to scrap my progress - something to do with running (tennis shoes, stopwatch, track, gym clothes) and maybe also working out in general (dumb bells, jump rope, treadmill, yoga mats, ipod/mp3 player, speakers, tape measure, scale..etc), goals, motivation, and racing/time. Any recommendations (from Sweet Shoppe of course) would be greatly appreciated! |
