when the counter on your camera starts over

When I pull my photos off my camera, I copy them onto my EHD by month and then just numbered as they are in my camera..that keeps it easier for me when I import them into lightroom. Today I went to import some and couldn't figure out why they were all out of order..until I realized that my camera had reset over to IMG_0001..b/c I had maxed out at 10,000!! lol That's an average of 2500 photos a year or 208 photos a month!!

Um...it's a good thing I don't worry too much about getting behind in my scrapping
