My son goes to a private Catholic school here in the States, and they do the same thing. They have a Harvest Festival where they give thanks for the harvest. No costumes are allowed!
I laughed out loud when you said what you were going to send you kids to school as ... can you imagine the look on the teachers faces?! Too funny!
