Well if you have any American kids you might want to let them know...I guess with the US being so "PC" we call Halloween, Harvest...and I didn't go to any type of religous school so I had no idea. Theirs is on Thursday.

It's the first time that I hear of a Harvest Festival. I went to Catholic school up to college and we would celebrate Halloween. My high school was even run by nuns and all, and we would still celebrate Halloween.

We still celebrated Halloween too. The Harvest Festival was a completely separate event, I want to say it was in November right before Thanksgiving? But it was a long time ago so I could be wrong about that, haha. The 2nd Catholic school I went to only did Halloween though so I think it was more of a school tradition than a major holiday.
