Having an Imax/3D theater within 6 min of my house (since we moved in January) has changed out viewing habits. I finally told my man the other day ENOUGH is enough! LOL! We have seen far too many movies with it being so close.

We go to Costco, get the 'cheap' tickets and then just pay the $2 extra at the door, per person.

All that being said, I am not going to put my foot down on movie going until I have seen Clash. Period.

My daughter goes ALOT and she takes me every couple of months. The last time we all went to see a movie together as a family was to see Brother Bear I think? Oh but we have a dollar theater where we can go which shows older films (like two months before a film is released on DVD they show it there at that theater). They have alot fewer movies at once like maybe six and usually only one that would be good for a family. When my husband worked we went there several times a year especially in the summer time because its cold. For all five of us we can get candy, tickets and drinks for 20 bucks. Also in the summer they have free movies for families/kids and we often go to them as well. Then every month at the botanical garden there is a movie showing for "date night" and we have been talking about going. So we have lots of alternatives where I live LOL.

Oh and we also found out if you go to see a 3-D movie in the first veiwing of the day ticket prices here are 6.50 instead of 9 dollars. We have so many theaters that we can go to that ticket prices are pretty competitive. The dollar theater I mentioned tickets are 1.00 on Tuesdays. 1.50 during the day on any day but Tuesday and 2.00 after 6:00 except on Tuesdays.
