Dave and Busters?

Okay, I went on the COOLEST DATE EVER last night. Long story short, guy I'm seeing asked me for coffee. I was headed to meet him for coffee and he calls saying "I'm hungry after work, let's go to dinner." We meet at dinner, go to this great new restaurant, and then he decides we should go to Dave and Busters.

I don't know if you guys have ever been there, but it is SO COOL. It is basically a chuck e cheese kind of arcade... for adults. We played skee ball, guitar hero, trivia, air hockey.... (also I kicked his butt in... everything. Haha). It was SO much fun! If you've never been, I *highly* recommend it. SO much fun.

We were there for probably... 3 hours. It was a great first date activity because it really brought me out of my shell, and it was fun to see how this straight laced, very stiff kind of guy got SO into skee ball and guitar hero. :: giggles :: It was GREAT!

My first date (with my now husband) was to Ruckers - basically the same as Chuck E Cheese too, but geared for all ages. We also played air hockey (and I kicked his butt - first time playing - I'm thinking he may have let me win, lol)! It was a great first date! And look - we've been married for over 6 years now!!!

oh we went there once when we lived in DC. Walter Reed hosted an evening for soldiers and their wives to go. it was SOOOO FUN!! the closest one to us now i think is in Chicago but i'd love to go again! its exactly like an adult chuck e cheese!

That sounds like a great first date! Anything to help get out of your shell. I went on one last week and was way more quiet than normal, something like this might have helped. lol
