Default What's the most you've spent

at one time on digi stuff?

I'm over at TLP filling up my cart and geez it's a lot BUT they don't have sales too often and I'm loving that new BOYC kit.

Help me not feel bad about dropping some dough

And then I've got new Sweet Shoppe stuff tomorrow...

and then sweet rewards next week...

GAH!!

Are any of you like me and as long as you spread it out over a few days do you feel like you're not spending as much lol....denial much? lol

The most at once on digi I believe was here the last time we had sweet rewards, I think it was something like $50. That was just that one day, I had also bought something the Saturday before that so . . .

I usually don't spend more than $40. Shopping at sweet rewards is really my main shopping for the month. Occcasionally I pick up something else if I can't wait or I actually need it. Usually I spend closer to $20.

I think I've spent $35ish a couple of times over the last 3 years, but not too often (although I could easily fill my cart that full!).

I've spent about $60 in a single chunk before. But compare that to me walking out of a regular scrapbooking store just a few days ago with 4 chipboard albums at $6-8 apiece, 2 small jars of flowers at $5, brads, ribbons, and other tiny goodies for about $20... this doesn't include paper.... and my total was $65. And I don't have even the necessary ingredients to make a single layout! Gosh, I love digi!

Probably $50 at one time. That was quite awhile ago though. I plan on doing some serious damage with my sweet rewards!! I got the green light from DH to clear out my SSD Kaboodle list, so that's exactly what I intend to do!! LOL!!

At a single shop in one day...probably about $40ish. In a single day...over $100, lol. I used to shop ALOT, lol...since I've come here, where the best of the best are...I don't have to spend so much! I came from spending $300-$400/month to spending maybe $30/month.

I've probably only spent $15-20--and only like once, maybe twice. I'm too cheap! Plus, I have a REALLY hard time spending a lot when I know I won't use them fast enough. If I planned to use them right away, it my be different. But I've got enough good stuff with my CTs right now.

I refuse to answer this post on the grounds I may incriminate myself LOL....

Ok, j/k :P...

I think the most I've ever spent during one shopping trip (spree!) is around $75ish. Of course, that was spent right here LOL! I very rarely shop anywhere else. I *heart* SSD!

well I have the worst of both world since I am Hybrid
Until I became a Babe I easily dropped $30 in the shop a few times a month. If I am shopping elsewere in digi land it is usually between $10-$30 but I really don't have time to shop LOL.

Now add that to the traditional stuff I buy and it really adds up. I can't leave my LSS for less than $30 a trip. That isn't counting my ebay purchases or my online hybrid stuff.

It is insane how much I spend

oh probably the $50 I spent when one of my favorite designers sold her whole store. I don't think I would do that again because, honestly, it's too much at one time and I still haven't even unzipped some of the stuff! That's how you end up with a bunch of kits you never end up using!

I know what NSD is, but what is DSD??? lol, am I missing another important scrap holiday???

I spent roughly 97$ at one time in July. I reeeeeeaaaaaalllllly got my $$$$$ worth tho, as is was all here except like 7 dollars, and everything I bought was either penny candy, from the going, going, gone sale, or with my 40% off sr points! LOL, I got a TON of stuff!

$15 is the most I've spent in a month... next month I can beat that IF I get my SR points...I didn't buy anything this month so I could spend a little more and get everything on sale....

The most I spent at once was about $30 and that is rare... usually I'm just picking up a kit or two and rarely go over $10.

DANG! We've got some serious spenders here! I think if I spent over $100 on a single digi purchase my husband would have a heart attack!

I usually spend around $5-10 every week or two, depending on what's out there and what pictures I've taken.

What's TLP?

I think I spent $50 once but that was probably two years ago and I don't think there's anyway I would do that now. Like someone else said it's usually too much at once for you to actually use. Now if I spend over $20 that seems like a ton and I've only done that on a rare occassion.

Even though I've been digi scrapping for 4 years, it was only about 6 months ago that I bought my first kit. I was living off of freebies before that (amazingly, I still like all my first LO's), and I was on a CT for awhile, so I had a few kits there too.

ANYWAYS, I think the most I've spent in one shopping trip was about $20 -$25. And I felt like I splurged, lol! But then again, you can get a lot of great stuff for $25!

Now, if I was to buy everything thats in my kaboodle account from here... lets just say I would spend closer to my years budget, haha!

Okay, I usually pick up one or two kits in the middle of the night on Friday when the new releases come out. SO I spend about $11 a week. But I can justify it because I stay home and scrap. If I leave my house it is a hundred dollar day. 1st I need coffee $3. Then I need to feed my kids lunch $23. Then I need gas $60. Then there is the cost of whatever I actually left my house for. Last week i went to AC Moore and Michaels. I got a few pieces of paper, Some K&C Owl Stickers and some stickers that looked like duct tape with words on it and I spent $12 And I can't even touch that stuff until my kids go back to school. Not that my husband cares. I asked him the other day if he minded that I had spent $25 on digi stuff in the past month. He said he wouldn't care if I spent $25 a week. I may take him up on that.

I think I spent around $100 on my sweet rewards order at the end of June. I had a huge backlog of stuff I wanted and it was my birthday and a good friend sent me a GC (for my birthday) and I got paid for a scrap thing I had done (etc etc etc) Basically a lot of stuff came together at once so I made the most of it. I haven't spent very much at all since then and am getting to a point where I have to really evaluate new purchases closely cause my CTs are keeping me plenty busy ( and satisfied!) enough. I know in August I've only spent $10. I tend to spend big at NSD and black friday sales and not any big amount in between. It all adds up though!

One of my scrap friends and I have talked about whether we really save money buying at these big sales - cause we tend to overbuy. Sometimes it seems like we should kaboodle everything and only buy/download right when we are going to use something. You don't always get the item you want on sale then but depending on how much you buy it might save on unused stuff.

I was over at TLP earlier and got totally sucked in and then shut the window LOL.

I think the most for me is about 20-30. I do lots of shopping at lots of places in little bits, lol! Not that much at one time usually.

Well, tracy ann gets to claim my largest chunk, on NSD... I have over 100 folders of tracy ann stuff, that I never get to scrap with because I'm here so much, lol.
my sisters always want me to scrap pages for their girls, because they've never opened photoshop in their life and would never even think of scrapping on their own, not even paper scrapping, so I scrap for them for their christmas and birthday presents, so I make them buy me girl kits, lol. I'm so mean. My scrap money goes to my own personal use, dang it!

I'm super lucky to be on the CT's I'm on, which is why I only join teams of designers whose work I absolutely love. Those girls are brilliant, I love working for my kits!

I doubt I've ever gone over $40, maybe not even $30.

I try to keep my purchases to under $12 mostly. There really isn't much point to me buying anything since I've got a pretty good gig here . (but sometimes I just can't help myself LOL)

Probably the biggest one time purchase I've made since I started digiscrapping was here @ SSD last July when I bought the entire Garden Girl collection by Robin & Christy and that was $40. That was for 6 full kits, 7 quick page albums and 4 bonus element packs, so it was a lot of stuff.

There have been a couple of big sales where I've spent maybe $15-20, but it's been quite awhile since I've been able to do that. In the whole month of August I've spent less than $10. Money has just been too tight since I became a SAHM 16 months ago that I just don't get to shop very often. Good thing I have some awesome CT's that keep me well supplied with goodies!!

Well being a hybrid girlie I guess I spend more than you digi girls. I quite often can spend £100 on embellishments/ribbons etc. so that's roughly $200 ish. Yesterday I went to my local scrapbbok shop for a glue stick - yes just one glue stick, possibly 2 to make it worth my while driving the 30 minutes down the motorway to get there. I spent over £40 ($80) Like how did that happen????
