Why is it that my shadows look good on screen, but when I print them out, some of them, tend to look way to dark?? I have a number of ways I create shadows, but for this particular project, I used mostly PSE shadows and tweaked them till what I saw on screen is what I liked.
Any suggestions?? |

watching this thread .. I have such a love/hate relationship with printing scrap stuff on my color printer. Mostly hate. Completely random on the color for shadows too.

all of the colors are off for me! well, since i got my new monitor it's a lot better. i don't know all the techy terms, but you may need to calibrate your monitor if it's the colors that are off.

I was going to suggest that your monitor might need to be calibrated. Are you printing at home or sending them out or what? If you're having them printed at Wal-Mart or something that could explain it, too. They're not that great at keeping colors true.
