Bonus Portfolio Challenges on the blog?

He He I haven't done my Portfolio for ages but this month especially with iNSD I'm psyched up!

Just wondering, with the new blog changes, is there still bonus portfolio challenges posted? I didn't see that they would be taken away, I guess I was looking forward to them this month as I have a goal to scrap as much as poss!

Pretty sure we aren't doing them. I know we aren't for May. Not sure if that will change in the future or not.

Is it just a temporary measure for May or are the bonus challenges gone for good?

I don't know if they will come back in the future or not. We are going in a different direction on the blog being more personal and sharing some daily ramblings. Of course with everything new sometimes there is tweaking so there's no definite yes or no with the blog ch's right now.

That's so sad! I love the bonus challenges! I always found those immensely helpful in working on the portfolio! It would be great to have some bonuses, but maybe they could be presented in another way in the new blog....

I agree, it would be great to have some bonuses, even if presented in a different way. I think the bonus challenges were kind of "life-savers" sometimes and most people will be sad to see them gone.

P.S. If you think about it, the Friday Featured Scrapper was a way to learn something about an "ordinary scrapper" in addition to babes and designers (since there was a little interview in addition to the challenge itself). So was TOTM. It feels to me that with the new direction there is no "showcase" for these anymore.

I didn't want to sound over-critical with what I wrote, it's just an idea that occurred to me while discussing the topic at hand, but yes, what you write makes a lot of sense from this point of view.

With every new format, one has to wait for some time before things settle and one can form an opinion. After hardly a week it's really difficult to tell. I'm a creature of habit, so it's hard for me to say good-bye to old things, even though I have no problem to embrace anything new at the same time. Let's see how things evolve. :-)
