Default S/O of Jennifer's CT thread

Maybe there's not much point in this, but I'd like to say that I truly, deeply admire all your CT ladies (and Babes, of course) for doing such a great work in showing off the designers' lovely kits. In 90% of cases, it's layouts and not kit previews that sell me a kit, and it has happened quite often that CT layouts helped me to see a beauty of a kit that I normally wouldn't appreciate (like themed kits where the theme doesn't really speak to me). So you apparently do your work well. ;-)

I tend to think I'm a good scrapper (and I realise it sounds conceited, ouch), but I'm sure that as a CT member I wouldn't be much use - I doubt my LO ever sold a kit (even though it would be cool if I'm mistaken), which is all the more reason for me to totally appreciate and admire your work. :-)

I really agree with this. There is lots of times I have added a kit to my wish list because of a creative team layout I have seen.

Me, too! I totally buy kits based on the layouts I see made with them.

Adrainka, I think you are so secure in your "style" of scrapping that a designer would love to have that different spin on their products. Every time I see you use on of Krystal's kits, I always admire what you do with it because it is outside the box of what I work in. It makes me want to try something new.

And thank you for the compliment for the CT work for some us gals. I will just say thanks on behalf of us that work hard to pimp our designers here. It was sweet of you to start this thread.

Also, I will agree that I buy a kit based on LO's more than the preview. Unless it is a themed kit that I was just waiting to come out. The pages can make or break a kit for me.

I love CTs!!! They are the reason I buy kits! I'm crazy and "research" the kit in the galleries before I ever buy. So yes, thank you CTs...and designers for having them!!

Oh thank you, Tara, you made me smile a wide smile. And since I'm having a major case of travelling fever (tomorrow it's off to Slovakia), that's quite something! :-)

See, I think that one can do their bit of designer appreciation and kit advertising even outside a CT. I love doing what I do, and if, by any chance, somebody else happens to love it too and it makes them try something new or have a closer look at a particular kit or designer, then I'm beyond pleased. :-) And since I'm a huge Krystal fan, it made me all warm and fuzzy that it was my use of her kits that you mentioned. This gal is very content right now. :-)

I still think I'd be a lousy CT member, since I hate deadlines (my work is deadline-heavy, so as a direct consequence I don't like them in private) and can't really plan a layout - I start out with an idea of using a kit and then I end up using something entirely different, or doing a mix and match that isn't really representative of any designer. :-)

But I can see that it can be huge fun - getting to see a kit in advance, getting to play with it, and having this cool feeling that you helped a designer whose work you love... and, of course (to come back to my original topic), it must feel great to enable people like me to get yet another lovely kit, hehe. Totally appreciated on my part.

I have to agree with this. Many of the kits that I've been seeing in GGG are older and don't have layouts with them, so I've gone into the gallery to find specific kits and how they've been put to use. The ONLY thing I wish more designers would do is to put the scrapper's names on the layouts, like Cindy's tags. These have been so helpful to find them in the gallery!
