Here's a bit of extra information on a few of the prompts that might help you get started :

#21: Tutorial Challenge: Extracting...
example 1 : Extracting an entire image
example 2 : Partial extraction of an image

#13: Use any Current Triple Dip SSD Collab... A triple dip is when three SSD designers have collaborated on a kit together.
Follow this link to find everything that's currently available in the shop.

#16: Alphabets - Dots or Pebbles... Feel free to use any alphabet similar to these :
example 1: Mr. & Mrs. [either of the top two]
example 2: Alpha Chips
example 3: Candy Alpha

#12: Use a Photostrip on your Layout...
example 1: Use a template [or an element from a kit] to create your own photostrip

example 2: Use an actual photo booth style photostrip in your layout

Just in case you are wondering, March bingo thread would be posted up by Loni really soon, for you all to claim your spot. :)

I have a question... What does "when you struck gold" mean?

Winning the lottery
Meeting your husband
Finding the perfect coffee shop
Finding a high end dress in a thrift shop
Meeting your best friend for the first time

Anytime you feel you got a great deal, or struck it lucky, I would think.

two questions:
Green and gold does the layout have to be solely green and gold? I did two with multiple gold leaves and flowers and lots of green but there are other colors included as well.

Second would a collab with two designers and templates designed to go with the kit be a triple dip or no?

There could be other colors on your page, but green & gold should be the ones that stand out the most.

If it's not in the dip category in the shoppe, then I would say no.

Would a photo of my husband and I with all of my grandkids work for the family tree? or do you have any suggestions?

Hi! This is my first time playing and am wondering if you all have a strategy to play the game?

You should at least aim to make a pattern to be able to earn the discount coupon that will be given at the start of next month ;)

With being new here and not yet able to financially create a stash of Sweet Shoppe goodies, is it permissible to use the Free kits for challenges?

Another question ....
If a challenge works for creating a new fancy signature or a hybrid project is that allowable?

I dabble it a little bit of hybrid as I have been a card maker since 1992 using rubber stamps and now most of my cards are partly digital.

I would say hybrid projects yes, but I'm not sure about signatures. I'll let Sherly answer that one.

I would say definitely yes with the hybrid project, but not the signature. :)

Thankyou Jacinda and Sherly for your replies. I understand about the signature, just thought I would ask.

Sure you can! I enter with pocket pages once in a while too.
If your layout qualifies for one of the prompts, I'd say go for it!

Yep, Sarah is right. Pocket pages definitely count, as long as they meet the challenge criteria.

I won't say last question :) because I'm sure I'll have some more - but is it okay to have kits that have been retired? Or from designers that are no longer here?

I was about to ask that same question Julie! Does retired kits from current designers count? (I know that designers no longer selling in the store won't count.)

As long as the designer is still currently selling here, you can use any of their kits, retired or not.

I have a question regarding the kits we use to play. I see the bulk of the page needs to be done with kits from the shoppe and designers but what if it's a retired kit? Do we have to use current kits?

Nevermind! I just saw the post above! ha should have looked first :)

For the paper challenge - 7 triangle shapes. Does it have to be exatly 7 triangles or can there be more? I didn't think it all the way through before starting and used this template with much more than 7.

sorry, as I'm new, can someone please explain the SSD blog scraplift part on the card please? :crying:

There is a scraplift challenge posted on the blog the first Sunday of each month. The Bingo square is to participate in that challenge. You can find this month's challenge here.

Can we still do that challenge? The card says March 5, so I was thinking it was 'expired' :o

It's posted on the blog on March 5, but you can use the rest of the month to actually scrap it.

Since it says a specific number, please do exactly 7 triangles on the page. :)
