I was inspired by A Surprising Day by Meagan's Creations. I used the blue, yellow, orange, and white from her color palette. I also created a burst background like her kit has. The airplanes from this kit made me think of this birthday of my son's because he had airplanes on his cake. I also went with some word strips and sticker word art like in her kit.

Okay, so I have to explain my take on this challenge. My daughter and I have been having fun grooving to and watching the music video of "Play That Song" by Train. So I decided to Scraplift the Music Video, and she helped me pick out some of the features too. Some of the features we included in the layout are:
-The shape of the side by side photos resemble the window panes of the building at the beginning of the video
-The tall photo resembles some of the tall city buildings in the music video background
-The photos are of splashing in a fountain, which happens in the music video
-There is a sky background with clouds like the music video
-A burst of light and cheerfulness that is given in the video
-An airplane is in the sky like in multiple parts of the video
-The background paper at the bottom added a splash of color and made us think of stairs, which are dominant in the video
